News Spinathon Update......
THANKS TO EVERYONE
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the businesses and individuals who took part in the 24 Hour spin-a-thon which was held at the Devizes gym Route2fitness on Saturday 21st January to raise money for the Devizes based Charity Bag4sport. So many people got involved including the Devizes mayor Sue Evans local councillor Laura Mayes and her family and even local girls Rhianna Andrews who is no 2 in the U19 GB Trampolining team and Jemmima Duxberry who had rushed back from Sheffield after winning the U20 British Championships to take part.
Everyone involved made this a very special event to be a part of and both Rupert & Jayne who Own Route2fitness and all the staff were fantastic.
I would like to personally thank the following Businesses for taking part and sponsoring this event. CMD Recruitment, Goodman Nash, The Bear Hotel Devizes, Strakers, APT Electrics Ltd, Route2Fitness, Cross Manufacturing, Canburg and of course the Bag4sport team. I would also like to say a big thank you to companies who sponsored the event but could not raise a team. Gaiger Bros, Moore of Devizes, Edmundson Electrical, Wadworth Brewery and Charlton Baker. Also thank you to Morrison’s, Tesco’s and Sainsbury for their kind donations.
We are hoping to raise between £10,000 and £12,000 which will go to help provide much needed financial assistance to local sporting organisations and individuals. This just goes to show with a lot of hard work and lots of support from the people and businesses of Devizes we can make a difference.
Yours Sincerely
Andy Trusler, Jide Ihenacho and all the Team at bag4sport.
