BAG4SPORT FOUNDATION LAUNCHES £500 T SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION

The Bag4Sport Charity Foundation needs young people from across the UK to use their creative skills to come up with an eye catching T-shirt design.

Anyone aged 16 or under who belongs to a sports club, school or other youth organisation can enter the competition and be in the running to win £500

The charity, based in Devizes, Wiltshire, was launched two weeks ago by Olympic gold medallist Tessa Sanderson and aims to raise £100,000 over the next year to help grass root sport and budding stars of the future.

Joint founder Andy Trusler said: “The winning T-shirt design will play a big part in our promotional work. We are looking for something creative that catches the sporting theme. It can be abstract or symbolic like some of the artwork for the 2012 Olympics or it can be a more real life representation of sport. Everyone will have a different idea and we will be looking for the most creative that captures the work of the charity. Some of the entrants may want to include the recycling element in their design as this is still very much part of our work.”

Entries for the competition should be created on white A4 paper and can either be sent as a hard copy in the post or by email by February 10 to Bag4Sport, Unit 2A Roundway Business Park, Hopton Industrial Estate, Devizes, SN10 2HU, or by email to claire@bag4sport.co.uk.

A group of judges, that will include Devizes MP Claire Perry, and Mayor Sue Evans will then pick a winner.
